How to Log Into MyNSM Records

    1. Go to www.mynsm.uh.edu

    2. Login with your CougarNet Username & Password

    3. Click on the Records icon under 'Apps' to access the Records Portal once you have been authorized access it.

      • Note: If you do not see the icon you may not have been granted access, especially if it is the first time you are using MyNSM. Please contact the NSMIT office at support@nsm.uh.edu or at 3-1618 to request access to MyNSM Records.

How to Submit a Form

    1. In MyNSM Records click the 'Forms' tab.

    2. Select a College from the list (The Departments in that College will appear).

    3. Select a Department from the list (The forms in that Department will appear).

    4. Click on the desired form to open it and complete it.

    5. Once all information has been entered, click the Submit button at the bottom to save the form and start the submission's approval workflow.

        • Note: Records Managers can see your submission pending approval when they log into the system, and they will be notified about a pending request.

How to Check the Status of a Submitted Form

    1. After logging into MyNSM and going into the Records portal, hover over the 'My Records' tab.

    2. Select a College from the list (The Departments in that College will appear).

    3. Select a Department from the list (The forms in that Department will appear).

    4. Click on the desired form title to view all form submissions in order by Last Name.

    5. Click on the Last Name column to view a specific submission and any comments associated to it.

      • Note: The workflow Status will change as the workflow progresses from approver to approver.

Why should I use MyNSM Records?

MyNSM Records allows you to access, store and organize electronic forms in one easy place. When communicating across multiple departments about your form submissions, the process is now quicker because different people and departments can simply reference back to MyNSM Record to view all available documents.

To learn more about the functionalities within MyNSM, you can always view the guide by hovering over 'Help' in MyNSM and then clicking 'User Manual'.
