Das to begin serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions of Medical Imaging (Aug 2019). Das currently also serves as an Associate Editor for Medical Physics.
Raul Torrico, Ivan Vazquez, Nate Fredette and Cale Lewis presented their work at SPIE Medical Imaging Conference in San Diego (2019).
Das selected as the ADVANCE Fellow for leadership training by the UH Provost's office. 2019 ADVANCE Projects include: developing strategies for enhancing recognition and national awards for outstanding women faculty at UH, strategies for increasing UH research funding (UH 50 in 5 initiative).
* Multiple presentations were made from our group at APS Texas meeting-2018. Graduate students (Ivan, Cale, Raul, Ian) and undergraduate students (Galen and Dylan) made presentations based on their projects.

* Das wins 2018 University of Houston award for Excellence in Research and Scholarship - Given to 1 faculty member in each rank for STEM areas.
* Das wins National Science Foundation CAREER award (2017).
* Das wins Department fo Defense Breakthrough Award (2016).
* William Nissbett, Nathaniel Fredette and Cale Lewis from our group lead multiple papers presented at one of the premier imaging conferences SPIE Medical Imaging 2017 held in Orlando, FL. Congratulations!
* Dr. Mini Das has been selected to be a member of the Board of Editors for Medical Physics journal (2017).
* Dr. Mini Das invited to organise and speak at the workshop on "Virtual Clinical Trials" at SPIE Medical Imaging Conference 2017. The overarching goal of this workshop was to understand psychophysics and perception aspects related to developing computational platforms for imaging.
* Dr. Mini Das invited to speak on computational platforms for Virtual Imaging Tools at AAPM 2016.
* Two papers on Single-shot x-ray phase contrast selected to be highlighted in Virtual Journal of Biomedical Optics.
