Cell Phones
Cell phones are never permitted for use in class. You will be asked to place your phone in the assigned compartment when school begins and may remove it for specific approved times. The cell phone policy of Nespelem Elementary will be followed and enforced.
First offense: Verbal warning
Second offense: Teacher takes phone and places is in the assigned compartment.
Third offense: Phone is given to principal and parent/guardian must pick it up.
Please remind your students to surrender their phones to cell phone jail in the morning
Discipline
In our class we work on positivity however sometimes it becomes necessary to provide warnings to help keep us on track in the classroom. This means I will generally provide two warnings before a consequence is issued for poor choices and/or misbehavior in the classroom.
1st chance: Verbal warning
2nd chance: Verbal warning and/or after-class discussion
3rd chance: Disciplinary action (office referral, detention, etc.) taken and phone call/email to your parents/guardians
