About

Hi! I'm Mrs. O'Neil. This is my first year teaching at Fairgrounds.  I've been a middle-school computer teacher since 2017.  I taught at Elm St. Middle school for 6 years before transferring to Fairgrounds.  Before that I was an elementary school computer teacher for 8 years.  And, before that I was a software engineer at BAE Systems.  Yup, I once designed software for military projects.

My father was in the Air Force, so I moved around a lot when I was a kid, but once I was in junior high my family stopped moving and settled here in Nashua.  I went to Fairgrounds back when it was a Junior High School.  I also graduated from Nashua High School when there was only one high school.  After high school I went to the University of Connecticut and received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science.  Now you can see why I like to teach about computers.

I'm really good at taking care of things like plants, my dog and my family.  I really enjoy playing golf, pickleball and kayaking.  I'm not so good at packing good lunches for work,  making new friends or making decisions. Procrastination and decision-making are things that I struggle with every day.

I have been married for over almost 30 years and have 3 grown children who are now out on their own.  My son is 28 and lives in Concord, NH and my twin daughters and are 27 and live in Washington, DC.  I have a dog named Frederick. He's an Airedale Terrier and is so excited to see me everyday when I come home from work.  His whole body wags, not just his tail.
