What We Do

More than just a hot meal, a warm coat or a helping hand, The Salvation Army is about changing people’s lives. Every person who walks through our doors is someone special, a person with potential and a God-given opportunity for their life. We give people the opportunity to belong, to grow and to succeed, and we do it every day. With this in mind, we labor with compassion and dedication to help people have a sense of belonging, to realize their potential, to help them grow beyond their circumstances toward personal success.

Our programs include:

• Food Pantry and clothing

• After School and Summer Day Camp program for children ages 5-14

• Financial assistance when available: rent, mortgage, utility and prescription payments

• Back-to-School and Christmas assistance programs

• Emergency Disaster Services Program

• Senior, Women and Men's programs as well as youth programs
