Immunization Requirements
IMPORTANT
*Please note age requirements effective for the 2023/2024 School Year for both Tdap and Meningococcal Vaccines. Students not meeting all immunization requirements will not be able to attend school after 9/22/2023*
6th Grade Students
Tdap vaccine is required for all students who are 11 years old and entering 6th grade. Proof of immunization must be received no later than 14 days after the start of school.
Beginning with the 2020/2021 school year only doses of Tdap given after 10 years or older will satisfy the Tdap requirement for 6th grade.
If your child's 11th birthday is after the start of the 2023/2024 school year, proof of the vaccine must be received no later than 14 days after your child's 11th birthday.
6th grade students are also required to have 3 to 4 Polio vaccines with the final polio vaccine given after 4 years old.
To avoid interruption in your child's attendance at school, please consult with your child's health care provider to ensure your child is up to date on all immunizations.
7th Grade Students
Meningococcal Vaccine is required for all students entering 7th grade. Proof of immunization must be received no later than 14 days after the start of school.
Beginning with the 2020/2021 school year only doses of Meningococcal Vaccine given after 10 years or older will satisfy the vaccine requirement for 7th grade
