Bald Mountain hike 2023!! This past October, 40 brave 3rd graders, friends and family went on an adventure to the Adirondacks. We hiked 1 mile up to the 2350 foot summit, where a fire tower gave us an even better view of the park. Mr. Bailey and Mr. Cupoli can't wait to take our next group of Cicero Elementary 3rd graders in 2023!

The 3rd grade Bald Mountain hike has been an annual tradition at Cicero Elementary since 1994, when Mr. Bigford and Mr. Stimson started this outdoor adventure. Since then, over 1400 students have trekked up to the Rondaxe fire tower to enjoy nature and the beautiful views of the Adirondack park
