Introduction to Desmos
Desmos wants to help every student learn math and love learning math. But “every student” is a lot of students so they create digital math tools and let the Internet take them to anyone who wants them.
Desmos is also the on-screen calculator used on the summative assessment in over 16 states. Come to this session to learn more about the Desmos online calculators and how your students can use these through the SchoolCity platform.

Using the Desmos Statistics Features
Awesome news for stats teachers - Desmos now has many stats functions! Learn how to make dotplots, histograms and boxplots. Also, normal, binomial and t-distributions live in the calculator - I'll show you how!
Super Mario Quadratics
In this activity, students will construct various quadratics to collect coins and stars in a series of Super Mario levels. Students begin by modifying quadratics in Vertex form and Factored form before constructing their own quadratics to move through progressively more difficult levels.
