About the Teacher

I began my teaching career in Frederick, Maryland in 2002.  In 2005, I moved to Massachusetts and started teaching at Lincoln Street School. I am originally from Wellsburg, West Virginia. I went to college in Bethany, West Virginia and majored in Physical Education. While in college, I was on the swim team and cross-country team.

I continued my education in Springfield, Massachusetts where I received my Masters Degree in Teaching and Administration and I was the graduate assistant to women’s cross country team. In 2018, I was named the MAHPERD Elementary School Physical Education Teacher of the Year.

My husband is a high school Athletic Director and we live in Medway, Massachusetts with our two teenage boys. I love to be outside spending time with family and friends, especially my boys. I am known for always having a camera by my side to document the activity. I also love trying out new technologies.
