About AIC

Aerospace In The Caribbean is an initiative of National Socitey of Black Engineers' (NSBE's) Aerospace Special Interest Group (SIG).  One of the goals is to keep the Aerospace industry viable by continuing to grow our technical base of candidates internationally.

We, AIC, have begun with the program "Expose and Inspire [generations in Aerospace]" as a method to give a broader understanding of what makes up Aerospace, while helping to remove the fear of being in a technical field in Aerospace.  As part of this progam, we will encourage involvement of Science, Tecnology, Engineering and Math (STEM), further the involvement in Engineering and inspire careers in Aerospace.

There are many parts to developing this initiative, some of which can be seen on the activities pages, some of which are still being developed so there will be more to come. 

We are a community of volunteers from various places across the Caribbean at various points in our careers, in various roles, who share a common love for Aerospace and the Caribbean while having a heart felt desire to grow and improve our communities.  We believe there are many ways to make an impact and Aerospace is just one of those ways.  We've decided to take an active interest in our future, our community and our  Caribbean.  So far AIC has proven that "We are better together!"
