About the logo
The logo is a symbolic representation of Regional Social Development Committee (RSDC) IX. It reflects what the Committee stands for as well as its aspirations.
RSDC IX’s logo is inspired by the heart symbol—a universal symbol that gives a singular meaning of warmth, compassion, and positivity. The color yellow symbolizes happiness and hope, which helps explain why the heart symbol which denotes love, also skews toward feelings of friendship and joy of RSDC members and stakeholders that, through the practice and conduct of their work, produce valuable social benefits that serve the public interest.
The gradual lightening of the blue-green shade represents the movement of new beginnings, growth, and abundance as the region becomes “The Center of Sustainable Agri-fishery Industries of the Philippines.”
The sunray at the upper left corner is a homage to the collective long-term vision and aspirations of the Filipino people enunciated in the AmBisyon Natin 2040, suggesting a bright future for Zamboanga Peninsula and the Philippines.
