The Regional Social Development Committee

1. Review and endorse to RDC IX the social development programs/projects of national agencies and LGUs in the region requiring national government financial exposure which may come in the form of guarantees, national budget appropriations or subsidies, among others;

2. Integrate social development information and statistics in the preparation of the annual regional development report;

3. Assist RDC IX in the translation of the national development goals and policies into specific regional social development objectives;

4. Coordinate and integrate development administration plans and programs of local government units and regional line agencies into regional social development plans and programs; and

5. Perform other related functions as may be assigned by the Council.

The RSDC is composed of the heads of the following Regional Line Agencies, State Universities and Colleges, TESDA-supervised Schools, Local Chief Executives, and the Private Sector Representatives:
