Procedures & Expectations

Procedures keep our class organized and safe.

During this global shift, procedures (especially those concerning cleanliness) are going to be of the utmost importance.In order to learn our procedures or as a reminder later on in the school year; read the following procedures below. Procedures will NOT be met with consequences.

Are there any procedures that you do on a daily basis? A set of structured steps to help you carry out simple tasks efficiently?

Entering the Classroom

1. Greet your teacher(s) and peers quietly

2. Go to your assigned seat.

3. See agenda written on "smart board."

4. Take out materials you will need for class. iPad, pencil/pen/stylus

5. Complete the do-now.

Using the Restroom/Leaving Class

1. Use the appropriate hand signal, wait for permission.

2. Take a pass.

3. Sign out with the QR code. Hall Pass Sign Out Form

4. Did you remember to wash your hands?

5. Sign back in using the QR code,

Expectations for You

1. Ask (peers, teachers) if you do not know a procedure/rule or what you are supposed to be doing. We are all in this together.

2. Suggest improvements to procedures when you notice them.

3. Follow procedures on a daily basis.

4. Remind your peers of procedures by showing one another the CORRECT way.

Expectations for Me

1. Give opportunity for student feedback about procedures.

2. Modify procedures in order to best serve the classroom environment.

3. Follow procedures myself.

4. Teach procedures until they become routine.
