Italian 3 is an intermediate language that continues to build on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills learned in Italian 1 and 2. In this advanced-intermediate course, the student continues to develop more advanced linguistic skills and to expand on vocabulary as well as to review previous material. This course is designed to develop greater proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Italian, while broadening understanding of Italian culture.
Level 3 Expectations: Intermediate Low-Mid
Level 3 is a full intermediate course and is designed to challenge students to increase their proficiency in the target language. Level 3 requires a solid novice foundation from Levels 1 & 2. Students who choose to enroll in a Level 3 or higher course are committing to learning the language with significantly more rigor and dedication than previous courses. In Italian, this is the Pre-AP course.
