The focus of the 8th Grade curriculum is on the inclusion of primary sources and making sure students are able to research, analyze, and connect sources as a way to develop well-constructed written arguments about historical concepts. Students will practice how to use primary sources in a variety of activities, most specifically as it relates to forming written arguments with supporting evidence.

In 8th Grade, we continue with the second half of US history, picking up with Washington and Adams. The following are topics we will study subsequently:
