Grading
Students will be graded on a point system. Their grade will be calculated as follows:
(Total Points Students Earned / Total Points Assigned) x 100 = Student’s Percentage
Grades will be earned based on: Tests (50 points), Quizzes (10 - 25 points), Homeworks (5 points), Projects, Laboratories (20 - 30 points), etc.
Reassessments will be offered at the teacher’s discretion based on overall class performance.
Absence
If a student is absent, it is their responsibility to get their missing work. Many of the assignments will be posted in google classroom. For every day absent, the students get one day to make up the work. After that, it will be considered late. A grade of zero will be entered into the grade book and once the assignment is turned in the grade will be changed accordingly.
Late Work Policy
Without any special reason, students will lose 10% of the grade each day. For example, one day late = 90% of their grade, two days late=80% of their grade, three days late=70% of their grade. If students have any special reason, please contact Ms.Lee.
