I believe the best way to learn math is to see an example, walk through an example, and then try on your own.
My class will run in a similar way. I will walk you through examples with your assistance, then I will send you on your own and we will go over questions together (it’s ok if you make mistakes, it’s how we learn!!)
If you ever have a question, never be afraid to ask. My job is to teach you so ask if you are ever confused. I will not give you the answers but I will guide you. You can only learn by practice and making mistakes.
I like to get my students up at some point each class. Can be coming up to put your answers on the board, working in groups, doing classwork activities, etc.
I received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education with an Endorsement in Special Education from Monmouth University.
