Nutrition

Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated is one of the easiest and most beneficial ways to stay healthy. Choose plain water over soda, energy drinks, or juice.

Eat well. Refer to the My Plate guidelines to make the best choices for each meal.

Think about some ways that you can be part of meal planning and cooking at home. Here are some recipes for younger students and teenagers. Always ask an adult for help first!

Movement and Exercise

Get moving! If you are sitting for a long time, either reading, at the computer, or in front of the TV, take 20 minute breaks and walk for 5 minutes.
