My passion for literacy, technology, and equity fuels my love of teaching and drives my work as a library media specialist. I believe that every student deserves access to inclusive, engaging learning experiences that empower them to think critically, create freely, and see themselves reflected in the stories they read and tell. I received my B.A. in Theatre and Art History from the University of Vermont and an M.A. in Visual Culture from New York University. I also earned my MLS with teaching certification from Southern Connecticut State University and hold certification in special education. One of my favorite books is A Sick Day for Amos McGee by Philip C. Stead, illustrated by Erin Stead—a story that celebrates kindness, connection, and care.
