World Language Pathway
This pathway is for students wishing to pursue a career that utilizes language and communication skills such as the hotel/travel/restaurant industry, the medical field, national and international diplomacy, social services, business, and more. Students will engage in rigorous, dynamic, and interpersonal academic and project-based programs, with the opportunity to earn a certificate of achievement and recognition at graduation for their work in the pathway. Students will gain real-world experience in their fields of interest such as travel, whether virtual or in-person, communicating in the target language, and making cultural connections.
Course Sequencing Suggestion: French 1/Spanish 1, Italian 1, French 2/Spanish 2, French 3/Spanish 3, French 4/Spanish 4, Spanish 5, AP Spanish Language & Culture,
Career Cluster: Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security, Government and Public Administration
Activities: National French and Spanish Honor Societies, MA State Seal of Biliteracy.
