FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
-What school work is required?
The Learning in Place Packets provided by Norfolk Public Schools are *required* to be completed. That goes for all materials, not just the general classroom work, so that means art, music, and PE activities provided as well.
-Are the videos and lessons Ms. M shares on her website (Doodle of the Day, Artist of the Week, etc.) required/graded?
No. The video lessons and supplemental information created by me is purely optional. I am making all of those activities so that my artists will have engaging, fun creative activities if they need or want more than what is provided by NPS. Those are JUST FOR FUN!! **MY** activities will not be graded.
-So what WILL be graded, and when is it due?
The Learning in Place packet activities WILL be graded. Those are the activities on the 2 page document shared on the Sewells Point Website. I have attached the link to find that packet above. ALL WORK IS DUE JUNE 1.
-**HOW** will the activities be graded?
The activities will be graded on completion. Students will either be marked as having completed their work, or they will recieve an Incomplete if they have not done the work and submitted it to me BY JUNE 1.
-How do I submit the activities?
There are many ways!
You can email photos to me at lmccurdy@nps.k12.va.us
You can send me a private message on ClassDojo.
You can attach a photo to a comment on this Google Classroom.
You can submit work via a Google Form below.
You may send me a direct message on the art class instagram @art.room.magic
You can send them to me as they are completed or send them all at once at the deadline.
-How will Ms. M be keeping track of submitted work?
I have an excel spreadsheet with each student and will be marking each one when they have completed their work. Grades will be given based upon completion and will be called "Participation" or something similar on final report cards at the end of the year.
