The average size of the adult sheep is about the same as a large dog. The average weight is 99-350 lbs.
Diet
Their habitat is grasslands and pastures so their typical diet is grass. Sheep are consumers also known as herbivores. They get energy from grass which gets energy from the sun.
Predators
One of the sheep's predators is coyotes. The sheep on Apricot Lane farms were introduced by humans. many sheep were eaten by coyotes.

Some of the different types of sheep are Dorper, Merino, Suffolk sheep, Valais Blacknose, Priangan sheep, Cameroon sheep, Texel sheep, Ouessant sheep, Jacob sheep, Hampshire sheep, Aktahdin sheep, Herdwick sheep, Big Horn sheep, and the Manx Loaghtan.
The different colors that a sheep can have are: black, gray, silver, brown, red, and moorit. Wool is naturally produced in many beautiful colors. Some sheep have spotted fleeces.
