What is Seesaw?

Note: Only available for k-2 teachers.

Seesaw is a student engagement platform that helps students create, share, and reflect on their learning. Students can respond using drawings, photos, videos, voice recordings, and text, making it easy for every learner to participate.

Teacher Tips for Getting Started:

Start with a simple activity.Try a drawing, voice recording , or photo response.

Encourage family engagement. Invite families to connect to Seesaw so they can celebrate their child’s learning and stay connected to classroom activities.

Model expectations. Show students how to complete and submit an activity.

Check student submissions before approving them to ensure they are complete and appropriate.

Icon Shortcuts - Use these shortcuts in the “student instructions” portion of activities. Type in the text shortcut and it will transform into the icon after you tap save.
