About Mrs. Calvaresi

Mrs. Calvaresi earned her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from West Chester University, and has a Master's Degree Equivalency including graduate work at West Chester University, Westminster Choir College, and the University of the Arts. While her first two years in North Penn were spent teaching Choral Music at Pennbrook and Pennfield Middle Schools, she is now in her 31st year as the classroom music teacher at North Wales. During that time, Mrs. Calvaresi has spent part of each year helping the music teachers at other elementary schools in the district. Over the years, Mrs. Calvaresi has taught music at Hatfield, Montgomery, Walton Farm, York Avenue, Gwyn Nor, Knapp, and Inglewood Elementary Schools. This year she will be teaching music at Knapp Elementary on Day 3 of each cycle.

Mrs. Calvaresi's husband is a fifth grade teacher at Knapp Elementary School, her son works as a sound technician and in studio production, her oldest daughter is the choral music teacher at Pennfield Middle School, and her youngest daughter is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh. Her very fierce dog Benji guards the house while everyone is at work and school.
