We’re thrilled to have you join the Nova Pioneer Paulshof Primary community, where young learners are nurtured, challenged, and inspired every day.
Here, we focus on helping each child develop the skills, confidence, and character to succeed in their educational journey and beyond.
To make your transition smooth, we’ve created a step-by-step guide that includes everything you need to prepare for the year ahead, from uniform details to essential school information.
Be sure to visit our FAQs section, where we’ve answered many of the common questions to ensure your family feels ready to begin this exciting chapter.
Welcome to the Nova Pioneer family—we can’t wait to see your child flourish!
There are three documents that we require from your child's current school prior to you leaving, namely:
Student Transfer Profile/ Testimonial (Inter-School submission)
Finance Clearance Form/Final School Statement (Parent submission)
Final Report (Parent submission)
The first two documents can be downloaded from the resources page. You would need to email them to your current school and very importantly, remember to cc admissions.paulshof@novapioneer.com. The school is required to submit the student transfer profile directly to us due to its confidential nature.
To avoid delays or start of school issues kindly ensure that you have submitted all the documents/forms required by the admissions team.
Please note that if your child is not a South African citizen an additional document is required of you prior to starting at Nova Pioneer. Please see details in the FAQs Study Visa section.
Visit the resource page to download various resources such as stationery, calendar, payment app and all the other information that you require prior to joining us.
You will also find a form for:
Language selection for Grade 4 to 6, kindly complete the form soonest.
It is vital that you read through the Nova Pioneer Handbook in order for you to familiarise yourself with our school, policies and regulations.
If you have missed the parent orientation event a recording is available above for you.
We’re excited to welcome all our new families to the Nova Pioneer community!
Our New Novaneers Orientation for students joining in 2026 will take place on Friday, 28 November 2025. Further details will be communicated to you by the school closer to the date.
If your child is joining mid-year, the Admissions Team will confirm the appropriate start date for your child.

At Nova Pioneer, we conduct affordability checks as part of our enrollment process to help ensure that each child’s educational experience can be sustained throughout the school year. While not an exact science, our process is guided by past learnings and best practices.
The affordability check consists of two key aspects:
Bank Credit Check
Manual Review of payslips, bank statements, proof of residence, and parent IDs.
It is strongly recommended that total household income is reflected in these documents.
Please note:
The process can only begin once all forms, documents, and the full deposit have been submitted.
Affordability checks and verification typically take up to one week to complete.
Submit your supporting documents to:
admissions.paulshof@novapioneer.com
Forms require you to fill in various fields with information about Guardian 1 and 2, Payer Information Details, and learner information.
Documents are the supporting files you need to send us, including:
Student birth certificate
Student report
Payer’s ID
Payer’s proof of income (payslip and 3 months’ bank statements; joint income is acceptable)
Once you have secured your spot by paying the enrollment fee, please complete the Ed Admin Parent Portal to finalize your child’s admission.
All fees are due before your child can start, according to the payment option you selected (or as per the conditions of enrolment).
Please note:
Late payment may result in a delayed start.
Fees are not pro-rated.

There are several ways to save money on your Nova Pioneer fees!
If you opt for the annual plan, you can save between R6,000 and R9,000 on tuition fees.
Choosing the termly plan can save you between R2,000 and R3,000 per year.
Here are a few other ways to make your fees work smarter:
Nova Pioneer offers a family discount that applies to fees from the second oldest child onwards:
The oldest child does not receive a discount, but the savings grow with each additional child:
The second oldest child receives a 5% discount on fees.
The third oldest child receives a 20% discount.
The fourth oldest child receives a 25% discount.
The fifth oldest child receives a 30% discount.
Current Novaneer families can enjoy a R3,500 tuition discount (applied to their own child’s fees) for each successful new student referral.
How it works:
The discount applies only if the referred student is successfully admitted.
The discount applies only for the first year of tuition.
For families with two children, the discount is applied to the child in the lowest grade.
Important:
To qualify, the referred parent must mention your full name in the “How did you hear about us?” section when submitting their online application form.
Terms and conditions apply. [Read more…]
Even if you don’t have someone to refer, you can still help our community grow by leaving us a Google or Facebook review! Your feedback helps us reach more amazing families like yours.
Please note that interest on overdue accounts will be charged monthly at a rate of 1% per month on any outstanding balances from the payment due date.
If your child is entering Grade 1 or higher and is not a South African citizen or permanent residency permit (PRP) holder, they are legally required to have a valid Study Visa to attend school in South Africa.

The Study Visa must list Nova Pioneer Paulshof as the institution of study.
Without a valid Study Visa, the school is legally required to de-register the student.
Please start your application as early as possible, as processing can take time.
You must email proof of application (home affairs receipt, VFS receipt, or acknowledgement) to:
studentdata.sa@admin.novapioneer.com
This must be submitted before school starts.
If your child has a Permanent Residency Permit (PRP), please email a copy of the permit to:
studentdata.sa@admin.novapioneer.com
Applications are processed through VFS Global on behalf of the Department of Home Affairs.
Ensure your child’s passport is valid for the duration of their stay.
Keep copies of all supporting documents, including your proof of residence, acceptance letter from Nova Pioneer, and medical aid documents (if required).
Visa renewals should be started at least 6 months before expiry.
You may submit a Study Visa application through one of the following channels:
