When is my child's 1st day at school?

We have a New Novaneers orientation for new students that takes place on the 2nd December 2024. Further details will be communicated to you by the school. Please see dates below.

If your child is joining mid-year, the admissions team will indicate what date your child may start.

All other students to arrive on 15 January 2025.

When can I go on holiday?

Unlike many other schools we follow a 3 term school calendar. We know you want to plan your next holiday already so here's the calendar for a detailed break down. TBC

Following year applications open in February.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to attend our campus experience that is exclusively for current families

Submit recent report, birth certificate, and R350) admin fee.

Secure your child's space by paying the enrolment fee

Grade R up to Grade 7 = R 3 900

Affordability Check Process

Nova Pioneer conducts affordability checks as part of the enrolment criteria in order to do our part in ensuring that your child's educational experience and environment is sustained for the whole school year. Though not an exact science, we do our best by referring to past learnings.

The affordability check process consists of 2 aspects, namely:

Bank credit check
Manual check of payslips, bank statements, proof of residence and parent ID's. It is strongly recommended that household income is reflected in these documents.

Credit checks cannot be made on savings accounts nor on Capitec accounts, in those instances, you may will be required to submit further documentation over and above the proof of income.

The process cannot be initiated until all forms and documents are completed and submitted along with the full deposit. Affordability checks and verification may take up to 2 weeks to complete.

What is the difference between forms and documents?

Forms require that you fill in various fields for guardian 1 and 2, payer information and learner information whereas the documents consist of sending us the following:

· Student birth certificate

· Student report

· Payer's ID

· Payer's Proof of income (payslip and 3 months bank statement, can be joint income)

Once you have secured your spot by paying the enrollment fee, kindly complete the parent portal to complete your admission.

When is my first payment due?

All fees are due before your child can start (according to the payment option you elected or as per conditions of the enrolment).

Late payment may result in a delayed start. Please note that fees are not pro rated.

Annual plans must be paid by 29 December 2024
Termly plans:
- Term 1: 5 January 2025
- Term 2: 3 May 2025
- Term 3: 2 September 2025
By the 5th of the month, in advance via debit order. January fees must be paid via EFT and thereafter, February to November fees MUST BE PAID by debit order *and a compulsory debit order for the 1st of every month thereafter
Should you want to switch from your current payment plan, please fill out this form before 10 November 2024.

Monthly payer - *make their first month’s payment via EFT and thereafter payments MUST be via debit order.

Annual and termly (Term 1 and 2) payment plan requests will automatically revert to monthly after the payment deadline has passed and cannot be reverted back until the next year, 2025 (for annual plans) or the next term for Termly plans.
Families on a termly payment plan in Term 2 CANNOT change their payment option from Termly to Monthly in Term 3.

I have not received an invoice, what should I do?

Please go ahead and make payment according to the fee structure provided above(according to the payment option you elected or as per conditions of the enrolment). Email POP to finance.paulshof@novapioneer.com. and please use "NPP Name Surname Grade" as your reference.

My invoice is incorrect, what should I do?

Please make a payment according to the payment plan that you selected or as per conditions of the enrolment in the meantime to avoid a delayed school start. Email POP to finance.paulshof@novapioneer.com along with your invoice query.

Remember to use your family ID account number as per the invoice. If you have two family account numbers, please use your child's name and surname and campus name until the family account number is corrected.

HOW CAN I SAVE MONEY AT NOVA PIONEER?

Did you know that there are multiple opportunities to save money on your fees?

If you opt for the annual plan you can save between R6,000 to R9,000 on tuition fees. Opting for the termly plan can save you between R2,000 to R3,000 a year. Here are some other ways you can save money:

Family Discount

Nova Pioneer offers parents a family discount. This discount will only be allocated to the fees from the second oldest child onwards.

Child #1 (oldest): 0% discount on fees
Child #2 (second oldest): 5% discount on fees
Child #3 (third oldest): 20% discount on fees
Child #4 (forth oldest): 25% discount on fees
Child #5 (fifth oldest): 30% discount on fees

Referral Discount

The school offers all current Novaneer families a tuition discount of R3 500 (on their own child’s fees) for each new student referral. This discount will only apply if the student referred is successfully admitted to the school. This referral discount is only applicable to the first year of tuition fees. Where a successful referral is made by a family who has two children at the school, the discount will only be applied to the child in the lowest grade.

NB. In order to successfully benefit from referring a student, the referred parent must state that they were referred by you (name and surname) when they fill in the online application form in the ‘how did you hear about us’ section. There are some terms and condition. Read more...

Avoid interest charges on your account

Interest on all overdue accounts will be charged monthly on outstanding balances at a rate of 1% per month from the payment due date.
