Dear Fourth Grade Families,

We are into the fourth quarter of the school year.  Please help your scholar by watching for signs of "spring fever" so they can finish the year doing their best.  Checking planners and Campus shows them that education and learning are important to you.  June 6 will be here before you know it!

Here are the units being investigated in Q4:

Mrs. German:  Food Chemistry Test in late May

Mr. Johnson:  Microworlds - Starting April 17; Test May 8th

Ms. Marchand:  Motion and Design - test on  Thursday, May 9th

Writing:  4th grade scholars will choose and research a notable 19th Century American.  Scholars were given the opportunity to choose a person to write a biography report on.  In addition to writing about this person, scholars will also be presenting information about them at our Biographical Gallery which you will be invited to next month (May 21).  Some of this information gathering may need to be done at home or at your local library.

Spelling:  The next spelling test will be May 10, List 28.
