Science & Social Studies

In science, we are exploring the natural world around us.

In social studies, we are exploring what people do to live and be happy in the world.

We learn about weather and climate during the first third of the year.

We experiment with force and motion during the middle third of the year.

We investigate ecosystems and conservation during the last third of the year.

In social studies, we learn about the concepts of civics, economics, geography, and history. Some of the topics that we explore within these concepts are: building community, community helpers, rules, working together, goods/services, trade, sequencing of events, connections across cultures and regions, weather impact/influence, and holidays.
