At Notre Dame des Arts, we believe art belongs to everyone.
Our mission is to open the doors of creativity wide making visual, musical, performance, digital, and literary arts in English and in French accessible to the NDG community through workshops, festivals, exhibitions, and joyful gatherings that bring together the rich diversity of our neighbourhood.
We celebrate the imagination, passion and cultural heartbeat of our community by lifting up local artists who make NDG shine, offering mentorship, skill sharing and recognition.
Notre Dame des Arts acknowledges that we are located in Tiohtià:ke / Montréal, on the unceded Indigenous lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) Nation. Tiohtià:ke has long been a place of gathering, exchange, creation, and storytelling for Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabeg.
As an arts and community organization, we recognize our responsibility to listen, learn, and create space in ways that respect Indigenous presence, past, present, and future. We commit to approaching our work with care, curiosity, and accountability, and to supporting Indigenous voices, artists, and knowledge within our community.
