If you would like to run for an elected position it is important that you take care of all required paperwork and pay close attention to all deadlines and scheduled speech times. Be very careful that you are filling out the correct Google Form for your position, by checking the title of the box. Submissions of required elements for running will not be accepted after the deadlines! For each elected office ALL of the following elements will be required:
STUDENT BODY POSITIONS Class Presidents See "Class President" page under Elected Positions
Application Questions Form will be available again in the spring. These will be public. Fill out the appropriate form for the position you are seeking. Keep in mind, your answers will be publicly shared.
Student Government Contract: Due by TBD You will need to sign the Student Government contract each year acknowledging the expectations for a member of Student Government and email or turn it in to Frau. You can send a photo of the signed copy. If you do not have access to a printer, please email Frau. frau@notredameacademy.com
Mandatory Meeting: TBD during 5A or 5B Lunch All applicants must attend a mandatory meeting to hear more details about the positions and expectations. This is informational but is a requirement if you want your name to be on the ballot the following week.
Speech: Email speech to Frau by end of day, TBD Speeches will be given to the entire student body. Speeches can be no more than two minutes, can not have videos included or additional people on stage. Speeches that have not been received will not be allowed to be given on stage. Speeches are onTBD. Voting will follow.
