Who Is a Support Champion?
A Support Champion is someone who shows up for a person living with FND.
They might be the person who:
π listens when things are difficult
π encourages you when you need it
π advocates when you can't do it alone
π learns about FND alongside you
π helps with everyday challenges
π celebrates the good days
π stands beside you through the unpredictable ones
A Support Champion could be a spouse or partner, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, friend, coworker, teacher, neighbor, healthcare professional, or someone else who makes a difference.
There isn't one definition of support. Sometimes simply showing up means everything.
WHY RANDOM ACTS OF SWEETNESS?Β
Living with FND can be unpredictable. And while much of the focus is often on the person living with FND, there are people beside them who are navigating the journey too.
They listen.
They learn.
They adapt.
They advocate.
They encourage.
They show up.
Random Acts of Sweetness is our way of saying thank you.
We're celebrating the people who help make the FND journey a little less lonely and a little more supportedβone sweet surprise at a time.
