What's a Makerspace?

The Lion's Den Makerspace is a place for creative exploration, tinkering, collaboration, and most importantly, FUN. Our materials constantly rotate based on student interest, but are always available to students anytime the media center is open. A new activity will be offered each week with occasional mini workshops and guest teachers.

Suggest a makerspace activity

Materials & Availability

3D printer

Available to use anytime the green screen room is open on a first come first served basis. Long projects will need to be scheduled when time allows.

Cricut machine

Available to use when media center is open. Big projects will require users to purchase their own vinyl.

Craft supplies

Located behind the circulation desk. Students can help themselves anytime the media center is open. Please keep in mind that these materials are for everyone and use only what you need.

Button maker

Located behind the circulation desk. Students can help themselves anytime the media center is open. Large projects will require users to purchase their own buttons.

Legos

Students can help themselves anytime the media center is open.

Puzzles

Located in the far left cabinets behind the circulation desk. Students can help themselves anytime the media center is open.
