For students who are part of the 1:1 Chromebook program, The Norwood Public Schools offers optional Chromebook insurance to help cover accidental damage, loss and theft of the Chromebook. The annual cost of this insurance is $30.00. Those that choose not to participate in the optional insurance program will be responsible for the cost of any repairs due to accidental damage, negligence, or the cost of replacement due to loss or theft. Repair due to device failure that is covered under warranty will not incur a cost to the student or family.
