Back by popular demand – the Norwich Baseball Association (NBA) is headed to Fenway Park again this year!
We will watch the Red Sox play the Atlanta Braves on Sunday, May 18 to raise funds to support the NBA in its second year as a registered nonprofit organization. Players and coaches are invited to a pre-game Youth Sports Parade around the warning track. All players and coaches currently registered on Norwich Recreation Department baseball teams for K-2 and softball teams for Grades 3-6 and the Norwich Baseball Association 10U and 12U teams can join the parade. Please read this pdf for game day logistics.
Sunday, May 18, 2025 - 1:35pm EDT at Fenway Park . Players planning to join the parade need to gather inside the park by Gate C (Landsdowne Street) by 11:30am. Family members and other guests cannot go on the field, and will be able to watch from the stands. You do not need to purchase a special ticket for players to participate In the parade.
The Red Sox offered group tickets in Sections 3 and 4 of the right field grandstand. The ticket price of $63.80 per person includes a $15 donation to the Norwich Baseball Association and ticket processing fees. Please complete this Google form below to share your contact info, how many tickets you purchased and the name and team (K, 1, 2, U10 or 12U) for the player(s) who will join the parade.
Several families have expressed interest in organizing a carpool to/from Norwich to Boston. If you are interested in carpooling please indicate that on the Google form.
Another option is to take the Dartmouth Coach to South Station (leaving Hanover at 7:40am). There are MBTA public transport options from South Station to Fenway Park so you'll arrive by 11:30am for the parade.
The Norwich Baseball Association strives to improve its programming, equipment, and facilities. A recent fundraiser paid for new catching gear. Future goals include a portable pitching mound, tarps, a new shed, new stands, and skills based clinics. Every dollar we raise or obtain through grants goes right back into Norwich Baseball.
