When students finish their books, they need to prepare a 1-2 minute book talk using the planning sheet on the BACK of their daily reading log (this will get turned in) 

• show they have read and understood the book

• persuades others to want to read this book

• put their name on the board to give their book talk to Mrs. Kerns during class or study hall

• complete the Somebody wanted but so then summary on the back of daily reading sheet and bring the book to the meeting with Kerns
