2. For math today begin by watching the stack, slide or roll song. Lesson 13.2 today focuses on if the shapes cube, cone, sphere, and cylinder can be stacked, slide on their side or roll. If you have blocks or toys at home that can illustrate, feel free to do some experiments.

2. For math we are starting chapter 12 where we focus on shapes! Complete lessons 12.1 below, students are asked to circle shapes based on if they are flat (2D) or solid (3D). Remind students that that with flat shapes you can see the whole shape, where as solid shapes have a side we aren't looking at.

2. For math, begin by watching the Jack Hartmann video where you practice counting forward from any number by 1's. This is what your math 11.4 worksheet focuses on. They give your child a number to count from and where to stop!

1. Begin today watching my video below, we will listen for beginning j or qu sounds, circle things that start with j, and identifying some rhyming words.

Next, watch the Miss Molly Said song below. This song ALWAYS gets stuck in my head!

Last, read row 2 and 3 from the big book of blending below.

2. For math, use the PDF number chart below. There was one of these in your child's folder at the beginning of the school year, if you don't have that one anymore, use this! The colors show the patterns we follow while counting. This will help while working through page 11.1 provided below. Follow directions at the bottom, students are being asked to count forward from certain numbers, then count stars in groups of 10. They will be counting up, the first circle will represent 10, the second circle will get them to 20, then 30, 40 and finally 50 stars. The stars represent bundles of ten, which we find along the side of our numbers chart.

1. Begin by writing Kk, Kk, Kk, Kk, and QU, QU, qu, and qu.

Then watch my video where we talk about the ck sound and what roles the Superkids will have in their skit!

2. For math complete lesson 10.7. Follow the directions at the bottom. One number in a ten frame has a box around it. The goal is to have students identify what would be ten greater than that number. So if the original number with a box around it is 7, students count forward 10 squares to land on 17. The math problem to write out would be 7+10=17.
