The Norwalk High School Orchestra was established as an ensemble within Norwalk High School in 1970's with the establishment of the Norwalk Public School's string program. Since then, the group has grown in size from a small and modest string orchestra to a 120 student string program with three separate orchestras.
The current orchestra director is Jennifer Burkhalter.
