Physical education aims to develop physically literate individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity.
To pursue a lifetime of healthful physical activity, a physically literate individual:
Has learned the skills necessary to participate in a variety of physical activities.
Knows the implications and the benefits of involvement in various physical activities.
Is physically fit.
Values physical activity and its contributions to a healthy lifestyle.

Active clothing (wear shorts under skirts/dresses)
Athletic shoes with socks (NO open-toe shoes, boots, slip-ons, or heels)
About me
I love working with children to help them become skillful movers to increase their self-confidence. I want to teach my students how to live a healthy lifestyle. I am excited to be the Physical Education teacher at NES. GO Panthers!
I have an AS in Business, a BA in Physical Education & Health, an MA in Exercise Science, and am currently completing my MA in Administrative Leadership. I am the founding member of the American Jump Rope Federation and currently the Risk Management Officer, Site Search Committee Chairperson, and AMJRF Ohio State Agent.
I love to travel, read, run, coach jump rope, draw, and spend time with my family.
