Meet the Teacher

     Hello! My name is Brittany Haught and I will be your child's second grade teacher! I have been teaching in Norton for over 17 years. I grew up in Akron (Firestone Park) and moved to the Norton area in 2020. I have 4 children, my oldest son is 22 and I have triplets that are almost 6 starting Kindergarten this year. 

     I went to The University of Akron and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education Degree. I also have a Master of Arts Degree from Nova Southeastern University. I completed my student teaching in Norton at Grill Elementary in first and second grade. I have taught second grade for 16 years. In the summer, I help run the Summer Book Club here at Norton Elementary School.

    I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We have family dinner night every Sunday night at our house with our extended family. Traveling and reading are two of my favorite hobbies. Anna Maria Island in Florida is one of my favorite places to visit. I also love watching sports, McDonalds, and Target!
