What is Tri-M?

Tri-M is a program of the National Associate for Music Education which focuses on creating musical leaders and advocating for music programs. The purpose of the organization is to inspire music participation, create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate the desire to render service, and promote leadership in the music students of secondary schools. Tri-M is the only organization of its kind to offer membership to middle, junior, and senior high students. If you are enrolled in a music course or join a music club your first year, you can join the chapter and participate in all events. Tri-M is not only an honorable organization to be a part of, but it fosters lasting friendships and connection with the music community that you would not have otherwise.
