Street Survival

Unlike the other events, North Star partners with the Tire Rack Street Survival program to provide a school targeted towards teenage drivers. The goal of Street Survival goes well beyond mandated drivers training in teaching students to control the car in unpredictable situations based on its handling limits. They master the application of driving physics using their car, learn how to make good driving decisions and react more quickly. They will become more aware and learn how to begin anticipating the actions of other drivers.

North Star hosts several Street Survival schools annually, also at Dakota County Technical College using the very same cadre of driving coaches from our other schools.

Contact North Star Street Survival Coordinator for more information on the schools or to volunteer. streetsurvival@northstarbmw.org
