Driving Events
North Star host many different driving events throughout the year to help get you out in your Ultimate Driving Machine. Our events cover a wide range of clinics that cover car handling, safety, student driving as well as hitting the racetrack. Whatever gets your interest, we have a class for you!
Street Survival
There's no better way to enjoy your "Ultimate Driving Machine" than to get out on the open road. It's even better when you venture out with fellow club members. From May to October the club offers many day-long drives to interesting locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Car Control Clinic
A Car Control Clinic is a non-competitive event intended to allow drivers to experience the car control at, and beyond, the limit in a safe, controlled environment. The Car Control Clinic will help you improve your driving skills while learning about car dynamics. Our clinic not only serves to enhance driving skills that are useful in everyday driving situations but also.
High Performance Driving
A High Performance Driving Event is intended to allow drivers, with track experience ranging from first timers to amateur racers, to practice car control techniques at high speed on a race track. North Star has traditionally held this event in late spring or early summer at Brainerd International Raceway on the 13 turn competition course. The event includes technical workshops covering theory.
