MS. CALISE

Hi! My name is Ms. Calise and I am currently in my 15th year of teaching! I have a Master’s in Library Science, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Elementary Education. I am certified in the following areas: School Media Specialist (K-12), Elementary Education (1-6), and Students with Disabilities (1-6).

I have worked with various grade levels, student abilities, and diverse student populations over the past fourteen years. Upon graduation in 2006, I received a teaching position as a first grade teacher at PS 88 in the South Bronx, where I worked for five years.

My experience within the library has ranged from grades K-12. Prior to my work in North Rockland I have done a two year position within the Pearl River School District and internships at Collegiate School and Manhattan Day and Night High School, both located in Manhattan.

Along with teaching I coach modified volleyball and varsity softball. I enjoy traveling, playing golf, hanging out with family and friends and reading.
