The Strategy

In Summer of 2022 the Northridge Athletic Facility Master Plan Committee (AFMP) was established and directed to evaluate in totality the outdoor facilities which included gathering information, analyzing land use options and ultimately recommending a plan of action to the Northridge School Board.

Working closely with Robertson Construction, three distinct and different feasibility plans were developed and presented as options for the stadium project. One was

unanimously selected and presented to the Northridge School Board of Education.

This holistic facility plan included a proposal to move forward immediately with the stadium project, located east of the current stadium and would include: 

• 8-lane asphalt running track with rubber surface. 

• New pole vault, long jump and high jump, discuss and shot put area

•  Artificial turf field

•  Stadium to include lighting, scoreboard, bleachers, new press box

•  New concrete walkways

•  Concession stand, ticket booth and restrooms

Long term, the plan includes:

•  Elimination of the current football field

•  Development of a baseball/softball complex

o New game day and practice fields

o Concession stand, ticketing and restrooms

o Locker Rooms

o New parking areas
