Scholastic Book Lists

Scan lists of books compiled by authors, editors, teachers, authors and parents. Lists are by genre (ex. biographies), subject area (ex. sports), author's favorites (ex. Rick Riordan's faves).

Sora

Sora allows you to search for children's digital and audio books, but it can be used to generate ideas before heading off to the library or bookstore. You can browse collections, search by keyword, and reserve digital and audio books from the school and town libraries.

1) Obtain your child's Guided Reading level from me. This level is indicated with a letter from A to Z. A note about reading levels...

2) Navigate to Scholastic's Book Wizard

3) Choose "Guided Reading Level" in the "Reading Level System" drop-down

4) Search by keyword, title or author

5) Refine your results using the drop-down filters. Filter by reading level, genre, subject or grade
