Scholarship
North Linn’s FCCLA chapter will be awarding two, $250.00 scholarships to seniors that are current and active FCCLA members for the 2023/2024 school year. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education.
Eligibility: To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must be a graduating high school senior and an active FCCLA member.
Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Must have taken at least 2 classes in the Family and Consumer Science area of study. (health 1 and 2 do not apply)
Selection Criteria: The recipients of the FCCLA Scholarship will be chosen based on the following:
Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills.
Active involvement in community service initiatives.
A well-rounded profile showcased through participation in diverse activities.
Scholarship Award: The selected recipients will receive a one-time scholarship award of $250, which will be directly disbursed to the college or university they are attending.
