Festivals and Competitions

Throughout the school year, we attend a large variety of sports festivals and competitions

A festival is a chance for your child to have a go at a new sport or activity - they do not need to have had experience of this sport or activity before. They will rotate round a number of activities led by sports leaders from local secondary schools. These are organised by Mid Sussex Active

A competition is a chance for us as a school to showcase the abilities of some of our best sports persons at our school. These events have a competetive nature, with the chance to progress to larger competitions within the local area. These are organised by Mid Sussex Active

A friendly is a competition against one other local school, where the main outcome is to give the children invited a chance to experience competitive sport in a controlled enviroment with low stakes. These are organised by Teachers who are kindly givign up their own time to run these.
