NPA Athletic Training

Welcome to NPA Athletic Training!

For student-athletes in need of athletic training services, please make sure ALL your RegisterMyAthlete forms (Consent to Treat Form) have been filled out!

The Athletic Training Room (ATR) is located inside the weight room (302).

Typical Athletic Training Room Hours, Monday-Friday:

What to do if you have an injury: visit the NPA Athletic Trainer during open hours or email jcyphers@northlandprep.org to set up an appointment to be evaluated/treated. If you visit a doctor, you MUST have a clearance form in order to return. You will NOT be allowed to continue with practice/games until you have been cleared by the NPA AT. We want to ensure that you are safe and healthy before you continue with activity!

It is not NPA policy to remove a student-athlete from class in order to be evaluated or treated by the NPA Athletic Trainer. Also, the NPA AT teaches classes during the day and will NOT be available for student-athletes until after school.

A Little About Me!

“If you want your team to give their best, give them your best.”

~Jon Gordon

Hello! My name is Jenni Cyphers and I have been the athletic trainer at NPA since 2021. I am excited to work alongside an outstanding group of coaches and parents. I get the opportunity to spend every day with student-athletes who want to pursue excellence on and off the field, court, and track. There is nothing I care more about than to see them healthy and safe competing in the sport they were created to play. That is why it is my duty to ensure that your child's best interests are regarded as top priority. I will NEVER do anything that will compromise this.

I have included several resources (top) for you to read regarding common sports related issues like concussions, skin infections, heat illness, and sports nutrition. Please do your due diligence as a parent and student-athlete and educate yourself about these issues and how NPA addresses them according to AIA, state, and local protocols.

If you have not met me yet, that is a good thing because that usually means your child has not been injured! :) But I love getting to know my parents and student-athletes, so don't hesitate to say hello!
