Students that enter in the Senior Māori and Senior English sections need to participate also in the Impromptu (Kōrero Tene) Speeches as well. These take place before the prepared speeches on Thursday, 6th June 2019.

• Speakers must prepare a 3 minute speech, with only 5 minutes preparation time.
• Impromptu Speech Preparations will be in the Music Room.
• Speakers are also able to select one of the props provided to use for their speeches.
• The topics and props for the impromptu are not given until the morning of the competition.
