Polar Pals Holiday Shoppe is coming the week of 12/15! This very popular event will allow students to shop during school hours and is a great math, business, planning and organizing opportunity for your student! The shop will feature items ranging from $1.00 to $20.00 (with most items under $5). Help your student by making a list of who they would like to shop for and how much they should spend on each person.

"Snow Grateful" Event for Montowese Staff will be held the week of 12/15 and will feature the following as our way of saying "Thank you snow much" to our Montowese Teachers and Staff:
Monday, 12/15 - Breakfast
Wednesday, 12/17 - Soup & Salad Bar
Friday, 12/19 - Create Your Own Holiday Popcorn
Monday, 12/22 - Catered Lunch
If you would like to help support our Snow Grateful event, monetary donations are currently being accepted via Venmo (@montowese-pta) or cash/check can be sent in a sealed envelope labeled "PTA" with your student.
Family Ice Skating Event is coming up on Friday, January 2nd from 1:00-3:00pm at the East Haven Ice Rink! This event is FREE for all with Skate Rentals at $5.00 per person. Please note, the EH Rink is a cashless facility. Fun Friday Spirit Days at Montowese School!
Throughout the school year PTA will sponsor the last Friday of each month as a Fun Friday for students to take part in! These events are geared toward fostering a sense of community while fundraising for various causes and organizations.
The suggested donation amount for each Fun Friday is $1.00. Students may make their one time donation of $10.00 (or more) per student at the start of the school year via Venmo or Memberhub.

Afterschool Enrichment Clubs
Montowese PTA, in conjunction with Montowese staff, are proud to offer Afterschool Enrichment Clubs, open to all Montowese students!
Clubs will run for three, 4 week sessions - one in the fall, winter and one in the spring. Clubs will meet one day per week from 3:15-4:15pm. The cost, per club, will be $50.00 per student. All sign-ups will be through Memberhub and will be on a first come, first served basis. Many of our clubs fill up quickly, so prompt sign-up is best!
Our SPRING SESSION begins the week of 3/17 and runs through the week of 4/9!
*All clubs will run for a total of 4 after school sessions from 3:15-4:15pm.
*Students may bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack.
*Please be sure to change your students School Dismissal Manager to "PTA Clubs" on the day your child is attending a club. Boys & Girls Club students attending clubs may attend Boys & Girls Club as scheudled following the conclusion of their club.
*Please be sure to pick your student up promptly at 4:15pm in the front of the school building. Students will be escorted down by their teacher.
